There are currently six rowing organizations on the Cape.
Cape Cod Rowing
Cape Cod Rowing (CCR) is located on Town Beach, Lake Wequaquet in Centerville. They offer recreational and competitive programs for adults of all ages. In 2017, Barnstable Rowing Club (BRC) merged with Cape Cod Rowing. Website: capecodrowing.org
CAPE COD YOUTH ROWING
Cape Cod Youth Rowing (CCYR) is a combination of the Nauset Tech and Cape Cod Rowing youth programs expanding to include Cape-wide girls and boys ages 12-18. Sponsored by CIRA, it is the only youth rowing program on Cape Cod working with schools to confer varsity sport recognition. CCYR rows out of Fernandes Bog Beach on Long Pond in Harwich. Cotuit Rowing Club
Cotuit Rowing Club (CRC) is based at Ropes Beach on Old Shore Road, in Cotuit. They row the waters of the three bays of Cotuit, Osterville and Marstons Mills. They offer opportunities for individuals and recreational and competitive masters. Website: Cotuit on Facebook
Freedom Rows Cape Cod
Based in Falmouth, Freedom Rows is an inclusive Military program that serves Veterans of all abilities on Cape Cod and the Islands. The program is jointly sponsored by the the US Department of Veterans Affairs and US Rowing. Website: Freedom Rows Cape Cod on Facebook
